Engineering Computing Services

Engineering Computing Services (CECS) provides information technology support to the students, faculty, and staff of the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering at Kansas State University.  Our primary services are:

Computing Labs

We manage the college computer labs (Fiedler 1091, Fiedler 1092, Engineering Hall 1113), Fiedler Learning Commons, Fiedler Checkout Laptops, Engineering study rooms, as well as the departmental computing labs for Biological and Agricultural Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering and Architectural Engineering and Construction Science.

Classrooms and presentation systems

We manage the presentation systems in Fiedler Auditorium, Edwards Conference Room, and many other locations.

Managed Computing

We support faculty, staff, and student desktops and network printing services in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Biological and Agricultural Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Architectural Engineering and Construction Science, and various Dean of Engineering units.

Web Services

We provide web services to host and configure web sites for the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering, Architectural Engineering and Construction Science, Biological and Agricultural Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering as well various Deans units and offices.
